WHAT IS THE JAZZERCISE CLASS FORMAT?
Each class is 1-hour long and includes a 6
to 8 minute warm-up, 25 to 30 minutes of aerobic activity followed
by toning/strengthening routines with weights and, finally, a
stretch/cool-down period. The instructor faces the class and is
elevated on a stage for everyone to clearly see each move. There is
no memorization of routines - each class is taught in a
"follow-the-leader" style, enabling you to begin anytime.

Jazzercise:
Each 60 minute class offers a blend of jazz dance and
exercise science, choreographed to today’s hottest music, including Top
40, jazz, country, funk and classics. Easy-to follow, fun choreography
includes a gentle warm-up, a 30 minute aerobic workout, muscle toning
and strengthening segments with weights and a stretch finale.
Circuit:
Featuring a proven combination of aerobic exercise and strength training
with weights and resistance tubes, this Jazzercise workout covers all
the fitness bases as you crosstrain your way to a fit and fabulous look.
Personal Touch:
Personal Touch Is an added approach to your exercise
program and will bring you to the next level of endurance, strength, and
fitness. Personal Touch concentrates on muscle toning by building lean
muscle mass, allowing your body to burn fat and calories more
efficiently, as well as teaching strength skills to decrease the risk of
injury. Emphasis is on inches lost and not weight lost toachieve a
healthy self-image.
Step:
Jazzercise’s trademark choreography is specially adapted to create an
original step class that’s anything but routine. The low-impact,
high-intensity workout is a great way to add variety to your personal
fitness program.
